It's the Inaugural Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler!
Registration closes soon!
The Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler is an annual endurance event scheduled for the second Saturday of December at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. First held in 2022 to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the founding of the Space Force, race weekend features a 10 mile race, packet pick-up, and finish line festival.
Participants can choose to run their 10 mile race solo or with their own Space Crew. Space Crew teams are made up of 6 crew members that each run 10 miles to collectively reach the edge of outer space together (outer space is roughly 60 miles away)! More information regarding our Space Crew teams is below.
The featured rocket for the Inaugural Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler is the RTV-G-4 Bumper Rocket! This rocket became the first launch at the Cape in 1950 and fragments from the blockhouse/launch control are on display at the Air Force Space and Missile Museum on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The featured rocket will be portrayed on the official race shirts, finisher medals, commemorative patches, and more!
Registration for the in-person event closes on November 1, 2022.
Registration for the virtual event closes on December 8, 2022.
